The two day retouching workshop is dedicated to hi-end portrait retouching in Photoshop CS4/CS5. It is divided into two big sections. Each section has its day. You can take two days course or you can take one day according to your skill level.

The first section is for those who is new to Photoshop and includes basic retouching techniques, such as RAW conversion with Camera RAW, working with layers, channels and masks, selection tools, basic skin retouching techniques.

The second section is for those who already has an experience of masking, working with layers and channels and is common with basic Photoshop tools. This section is about hi-end retouching techniques, such as dodging& burning, inverted high pass, frequency separation and much more.

A 3 1/2 day intensive course is suitable for all levels. The main goal of the course is to help photo enthusiasts to develop their own meaningful body of work from idea to print and to share personal experience in conceptual photography.
The entire workshop program includes three big sections. The first section is theoretical: we will run trough influential text and video, discussions and critiques, working on your own concept. The second section is practice, where you will be creating the images in groups up to four with one model per group. And the third section is dedicated to postproduction, which is an integral part of any photographic process.
This workshop will not cover any technical aspects, (i.e. how to use your camera), but will help you to use photography as a tool to express an idea or exploration of a subject as a coherent work.
